I saw Bubba Ho-Tep last night. If you are a Bruce Campbell fan (Evil Dead Series) you shouldn't pass this one up. It is a low budget film that Director Don Coscarelli is distributing himself. I believe the film will be on a limited run in several different cities around the US.

Funny premise, great lead, dissapointing film. My friends and I are Cambell fans, and thought this would be a great vehicle for his comic persona, however too much time in his bed and not enough actual tension played for laughs left us wondering why this film couldn't have been pushed much further. There's no studio decisions or executive interference to blame for a ultimately dull script. How could Elvis fighting a mummy not be hilarious from start to end?
    See it and find out....
